Im a fraternal twin and so is my boyfriend could i be pregnant with twins?

I'm not sure how far along I am but I'm only experiencing really bad cramps that hurt way worse than my menstrual cramps. Could my uterus be growing faster because I'm carrying twins? What are my chances? Please any info will be great.
