Post about water breaking at 16 weeks?

Did you ever find out more detail? I am torn right now. I was pregnant with fraternal twins when one sac broke at 12 weeks. Because this sac broke, it caused an infection to the other sac which also broke one week later at 16 weeks. I had a D&C last night and I am not emotionally hurting. I am also scared of getting pregnant again and enduring the same thing. The doctor's can only tell me what might have caused it, but they aren't sure. I can't find any answers over the internet either. Did you get pregnant again and the same thing happen? Please feel free to email if you can.
